- Dr Leslie Jacobs received her Bachelor Of Science degree in Biology-Chemistry from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.

 - Dr. Jacobs attended dental school at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999.

 - She received the Pierre Fauchard Dental Award, the Pediatric Dental Award, the Orthodontic Award, the Oral Surgery Award, the Oral Pathology Award, and the Dental Research Award while in dental school.

 - Dr. Jacobs participated in a dental mission trip to Atoyac, Mexico providing dentistry to hundreds of underprivileged children and adults in 1998.

 - She served in the United States Army Reserve from 1985 to 1993 and also served in Desert Storm.

 - She completed her pediatric Dentistry curriculum at Louisiana  State University School of Dentistry in 2001.

 - Dr. Jacobs belongs to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and volunteers her time at the dental clinic of the Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic.

- She is an active participant in educational community events for children such as:

• Babies-N-Bloom

• Kid's Fest

• Red, White, Blue & You at the Zoo

- She volunteers her dental services to the "Give Kids a Smile" Program.

- She has been board certified since April of 2004.

 - Dr. Jacobs is married to Dr. Stacy Ste. Marie who practices orthodontics in Lafayette. Dr. Ste. Marie is from Sunset, Louisiana.
